Sailing Around the World! Good? Bad?

In class as I said before we are reading a book called Kensuke’s Kingdom... And I also mentioned that she sails around the world with his family. Soo... That week we were learning about how to write an argument. So Mrs G decided that we should write an argument about ‘is it a good idea to sail around the world WITH your family or not?’ I found it easy with all my friends helping me and it was really fun!
Here is my one :D Hope you like it!

Japan H/W W4 T3

Japan! On the 15/08/13 we had Japanese students from Hoshino Gakuen Primary School come to our school. So the week before that Mrs G (teacher) knew so our homework task was to research JAPAN! I did a lot of research and here is my finished product! I found it very easy because all the information I needed was there... Other researches from other countries were harder because the countries weren't as popular as Japan, Australia, China etc. The following Thursday the Japanese students arrived, I had a buddy she was kinda shy it was AWESOME!!

Kensuke's Kingdom Travel Map

This is my Kensuke's Kingdom Travel Map. You’re all probably wondering what Kensuke’s Kingdom is.. Well it’s a class novel we are reading everyday, Rm20 seem to be enjoying it so far. And it is one of the most famous book across the whole of Year 6 at EPS. In this story there is a character called ‘Michael’ he goes with his family to sail around the world! Pretty cool right? Our teacher thought that we would do something new but still have things related to the novel. So we chose ‘How to make Animations’ on Google Presentations’ And here is the one I made.. I tried to keep it as simple as I can :) Enjoy!

Poverty Speech

This term the whole of year 5 and 6's had to do a speech! I wanted my speech topic to be unique and memorable, at first I chose the topic 'Brothers' and I finished it but I wasn't 100% happy with it so I changed it at the last minute to 'POVERTY' and I'm actually quite happy with it and it's good enough :) I didn't make it into the speech finals but that's okay! At least I proved that I can write a speech and present it (confidently), AND IM PROUD OF MYSELF

If you have any feedback or questions PLEASE leave a comment in the comment box down below! I would love to know what other people think of it :D

Making Graphs On Spreadsheets

This is my a spreadsheet I used to create my graph. I asked loads of questions (excluding the name) but then we thought that if we turn it into a graph then it would be a long long sentence and it would be a 'flat line' as our teacher would say it BORING!! So I stuck to 'one' question! I think it's an awesome way to collect data AND I got to learn more stuff like collecting data and using a spreadsheet to make a graph :D
